Ol Jack Elam has to be one of the best. Slim Pickens did a couple leads,but he was good in everything I ever saw him involved in.

Ben Johnson, the man knew horses and watch how he handles firearms in any of his movies, he was at home with them to.

Ya'll left out John Caradine, Walter Brennan, Pat Butram, Jack Palance and Bruce Dern. I have to say that Slim Pickins was my all around favotite character actor, Got the opportunity to meet him once down in Orygun.
