Late 1800's Sioux Knife

Another challenge from KT.Sent me a pic of this knife and asked if I could replicate it for him.So here is my rendition.1095 steel aged and etched, and Curly maple scales.Dave :)

I believe that what we have here is a well-used, and often re-sharpened, example of the standard butcher knife.  They were widely traded "in the day", and are still available today.  You can even get them in carbon steel if you look around.

The provenance is what is important.
