I looked at a couple EMF's at the local gunshop today,,,OUTSTANDING case colors,,looked like bone and charcoal even.......if it is fake it's the best damn fakery I ever saw,,even had the yellow'ish streaks in amongest the blues and blacks. Right almost as good as on my USFA's.

They were new,,,,,,,,,and priced at 360 (well three fifty nine, ninety something).

If either had been in .45 colt, I'd have laid one away. Both were .357 magnum. Still pondering laying one away or having them order me a .45colt.

I had one of the EMF 45 long cold with the 24 in hex bbl , I liked the gun ok an it shoot great but didnt cycle that well , it didnt seem to like any of the ammo I loaded for it , 3 different types of bullets ,I noticed 2 marks on every case it jammed on from hitting the top of the chamber , mine was a 92 but Id get in the middle of a stage an have to shuck the lever min 2 time to wiggle the rnd in about the 3 an 5th shots , I changed my crimp practice still no help I polished the action in side an out did a action job but still never made it cycle as well as the 1st 92 I had from rossi , I finaly sold it an traded for a 1866 yellowboy from cimmeron an never looked back it functions flawlessly every time as long as the bullets are seated back far enough , that the elevator dont hang up , t

I've had a number of EMF guns over the years and only one I didn't like I still have.  It's a Hartford 92 rifle, 24" octagonal, all blue.  I bought it in .45 Colt and really wish it were a .44-40.  Other than that it's a good rifle.

I also know from first and second (and third) hand experience that they stand behind their stuff better than most companies.
