My Ainsworth is ordered.
« on: March 22, 2010, 01:21:44 PM »
I ordered it through a local gunshop that was listed on USFA's website.  I told him to order a "Government Inspector Series," Orville Ainsworth model.  He put my order in on the 17th with Gary.  I clarified I wanted the 7.5" barrel, and CCH with Armory Blue.  Is this gun guaranteed to have the V-notch rear and blade front, or should I have specified that?

Jared,
Again, why ask us?? Call Gary @ USFA and make sure you're getting exactly what you want.

I tried, I kept getting a busy signal. I thought somebody here might know for sure.

The Ainsworth and all the Inspector Series come with the BP frame, V notch rear, and tapered front.

Hey Jared,

Did he give you any idea on the lead time for the build? I'm looking for my Flat Top Bisley in early April which will make it right at 90 days.

Thanks,
Capt Nick

My dealer was told a 90 day build; I guess that would put it in mid June.

JP
In Single Action's, there are only 2 brands worth having, Colt and USFA.
Unfortunately Colts ain't Colts anymore
USFA make the best Peacemakers available.
You'll love your USFA
