Steer's Leg Pocket Knife Circa: 1865
« on: February 12, 2010, 04:44:41 PM »

This very cool leg knife was manufactured by Peters Bros. Celebrated Cutlery, circa 1865. It's possible this knife came from Solingen, Germany. The Peters Bros. made cutlery under their name between 1876-1886. Made from horn, it sports a corkscrew and large knife blade. Horn is carved like the leg of a steer. A terrific collector's item.
