Can you ask another question so we can answer it.  Then we'll hijack the thread and take it to places you never had any idea it would go. ;D ::)

Tonight would be good, it's dead slow here at work, wandered up to the WD to see if they needed help, nope, no need to help them watch the clock either.  At least I have the net here. ;D

I remember that we had one when I was a kid in the 50s. It always smell like a laundry in our house when my mother used it. I don't remember what ever happened to that thing.

No, but I have a serious question: I finally wore out the hand-held shower in our bathroom.  It's in a stand-alone shower the size of Superman's phone booth.

Now picture this: the original shower head came out of the wall about chest high.  Had to get on my knees to wash my hair...so I put in one of those gooseneck pipes that raised it up above head level.

Worked great for almost thirty years, but now I find all the hand-held showers have 10"-14" handles and the  end nearest the hose fits in a socket so the whole thing hangs out far enough from the wall that it squirts over the door.

I been everywhere and can't find one that mounts with the socket closer to the spray head.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a plan.  Do you have room for me, the wife and dog, and all of our truck and duffle?

You wouldn't be the first.  Come on up.  Just know we stay up late an sleep in.  Put the seat down an wash yer plates an silverware when ya done eatin.  One of our dogs is a compulsive licker so you just have to get used to it.  There is no cure (she loves tobasco).  Other than that, I don't see a problem.

Well he sure could if he'd buy a copy of Texas Bix Bender's book:

Yeah, Erma Bombeck.

Find a book...may be more than one...by Chick sales, maybe late '20s to late '30s.  Ol' Chick knew how to build a 'comfort shed'.
