Pre War in 44WCF
« on: January 24, 2010, 05:39:10 PM »
Howdy Pards
I traded for a pre war a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to shoot it . It shoots as good as it looks . And it is a beautiful piece . This is the gun I will leave for my son in about 30 years . The Quality in this revolver is 2nd to none .

Rowdy, congrats hoss. USFA is the STUFF. Mine is the standard SAA,,but it in itself is one awesome SAA. I couldnt be happier,,,unless I had the funds in my pocket to order another USFA.

What barrel length is your pre-War ?

The Pre War is a 5.5 and I am happy with it . It's a shooter and is a beautiful , the case colored hardening is purely beautiful to say the least.  I think I will save up and add a second to my arsenal .

Rowdy,

I beg to differ.  That revolver doesn't exist.  Until we see pics, it is a figment of your fertile imagination.  No pics?  No proof!   ;D

Did I mention how well it shot . This is a favorite of mine . It is worthy of leaving for my son one day .But I've got lots of years to break it in .

Classy Rig!  I personally like the 5 1/2" length.  I definitely like the Case Color Hammer.

Great looking pistol.

Howdy Pards Thanks for the praise on the Pre War . I love shooting it , and it's a good shooter . I recently ordered a 1873 short rifle to pair up with it . Can't wait to take them out and shoot them .
