Stag is back!!!
« on: May 04, 2005, 06:55:02 PM »
I just got a set of european red stag grips from Elen Hunting (here's their site)

http://www.elenhunting.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EHOS&Product_Code=EGSPG&Category_Code=PG

These are even better than my old sambar stag grips. I'm tickled pink because STAG is BACK!   ;D

I too love stag grips.  Glad they are back... even at that price   :o
Back in '94 I put stags on my matched pair of Vaqueros for under $200.00
They can be seen in the RATS Pics forum.   8)

size=11pt][/size]Sure do like stag, however, from the pictures they just don't look right.  Maybe seen up close and personal they look more stag like.  Some years back I purchased a first run Colt with old stag grips.  Today the grips are worth several times over what I gave for the old 38-40 Colt. This is the only gun trade I've ever made that has the potential of  turning out good.  Well, that and another old first run Colt.  Today I can't afford the old stag grips, much less an old Colt. Sure nice to hear that you are happy with the grips, a Satisfied customer speaks well of the product.
