So why is it better to have a secant ogive on my rifle bullet than to have a tangent ogive? ;D ;D :D :D ;) ;)  I don't want to be 'cused of goin' off on a tangent with out knowin' why I shouldn't. :D :D ;)

Well pats are better then a Kabong, or a thwap.  But Annie how are you going to wear Lee Ping when you can only wear two main hand weapons?

The Kabong is a two-hand weapon like a rifle.  Right?  Well?

Leigh Ping is not a main match weapon and isn't a firearm. Would you rather I carried this at my back?

From a post I made on the Frontier Spot about WartHog knives a little over a year ago:

The Cold Steel Laredo Bowie:

Laredo Bowie CS-16CC
Length, Overall: 15 11/16"
Blade Length: 10.5"
Blade Material: Carbon V
Handle Length: 5 3/16"
Handle Material: Exotic Hardwood
Weight: 17.4 oz
Sheath Material:  Leather

She may not be the longest of the bunch, but she is both WartHog AND Styling!!

She's a beauty but is HUGE. My next one is going to be a custom made knife with sheath from Nolan Sackett. It should be small enough to be a regular part of my shooting clothing.

But...

This weekend is a "going away" shoot at a club that is closing down. I think I am going to wear the kilt and the Cold Steel Bowie to it. I don't know why, but it feels fitting, somehow.

I carry a 5" blade Delmonico Special with Red Cedar grips.  It can be stropped to shavin' sharp and will also serve as a paring knife can and has been used to feild dress and buthcher a deer or more'n likely any other critter that needs cut up to et'.

If'n I had a digital camera I take a picture, there are about a dozen of the out there floatin' around.  Simply ain't nothin but a 2/3 scale Green River type MT. Man knife. ;D  But it's fer more than show.
