Hey Marshall i couldn't figger out how to post this on Bunkhouse,if ya want delete it,if ya can post it yonder iffin y'ant to~Sorry bout that

Well this is how i got it,pretty wobbly and was shaped backwards with ribbon up front.

I took some steam and hat stiffner to it and it sorta strieghtened itself out,good quality old hats will do that and i shaped up the crown open and got it turned back with ribbon in the back.And this is the real color.

wanted to do the 1930s-40s cowboy look as this hat is old so i looked at old pics,crowns back then were very high,mine not so high,so i had to come up with somethin and i like the old Hoppy crease but wanted a little more with it so i used my harmonica to make the front crease and when i squeezed it together it automaticaly made the impressions on each side and i thought hey that looks pretty good so i went with it.Gave it a front brim rolling pinch steamed it good and let "er' sit and here's the results~~

Thanks KT,looks good with them guantlets don't it.When i got the hat it was pillow soft,but steam and some stiffner got it back to original feel.Wait till ya see the outfit i put together with it,got me some ideas with a gun rig a feller sent me a couple years ago.

Same color blue as on the gauntlets, skin tight buckskin with fringe down the outside seams and gaucho cuffs with embroidery and big conchos. Then you'd really get on well at the disco.
