Hooray! Wheelgun Wilhelm returns.

George "Wheelgun" Wilhelm returned to the world of CAS this morning at the Jefferson Outlaws' monthly shoot in PA.

It was last fall, I believe, when George was riding his Harley and got clobbered by a school bus driver who violated his right-of-way, claiming not to have seen him. Things were pretty touch-and-go, with all the internal injuries he suffered but Wheelgun Wilhelm came back today, and shot 39th in a field of 50 shooters. (Beating me by several rank places, BTW.)

One of the things he hopes to do soon is visit the group of pre-school kids who were riding on the bus at the time of the crash. They sent him a get-well card or two, and George wants to show them that he's really OK.

Of course, he'll never be completely OK, mainly because of the knee injuries. But he's thinking about buying another Harley...
