#1-If someone dropped 500.00 in your lap and said go get a cowboy shotgun or self defense gun,what would you get if you could get one at that price.

 #2 My cousin has a 12 guage J.C.Higgins sold at sears bolt action shotgun he has had since a kid,well he took out the bolt and ran a pipe up the barrel and made himslef a lamp to put in his cabin.Ya turn the switch with a 410 shell,I saw and i said WHAT THE HELL ! THATS A BOLT ACTION 12 GUAGE!!!! Was i right or is it not a semi rare gun.

They are not too uncommon but did not work too well.  I have two that were left to me and both of them have broken stocks.

I had one of them JC Higgins. I bought it for $55. I may have paid too much for it. I sold it or traded it off years ago.

     What is the quality like on the Chi-Com copies of the Winny M1897 pump shotgun ?  Price ?

      I have an original Winny cut to a 20" barrel .  It is a very reassuring house gun .
