I like my Ruger Bisley Vaqueros and my Birdshead Vaqueros.

The Bisleys are a dream to shoot. With the 4 5/8" barrel they are not too forward heavy, the Bisley hammer is easier for my short thumb (I shoot duelist) to reach. I put Power 1/2 cock notch hammers in them and this gives a very nice trigger.

The Birdshead grips fit my hands better than any other. I don't know why this is but they just feel right. I love the short (3 1/4"?) barrels because they make the guns lighter and more responsive, very neutral in the hand and this along with the fit makes these guns point perfectly for me.

I like Rugers for CAS because, frankly, we are rough on these guns and I would hate to break one! Rugers are relatively affordable, durable, and simple enough to care for.

Remingtons:
1-1875
1-New Model Army with R&D conversion cylinder.
I like them because they are a good design and not very many in Indian Territory shoot them. The design was so good Colt stole the idea for the 1873. ;D

Right at the moment my fave is a pair of 7 1/2" 75 Remmies in .45 Colt. Nobody in this part of the world shoots Remmies, so I've got 'em on style points, and when I take my time and shoot like I know how, I don't miss much with 'em either. They even work pretty well shooting one handed (I shoot Classic Cowboy).
Dang them voices have good ideas sometimes!

Mah favorite pistol? Do Ah havta choose? Really havta ta choose? wal Pilgrim if Ah havta Ah havta, lessee it ain't Colt too D--- expensive 'n 'sides they don't fit mah han comfortable, ain't none o them foreign "clones" ither, nor is S&W revolvers
'n it sure as h--- ain't th New Vaquero, thas just a Colt clone, in mah opinyn; 'n as Ah said 'bout th Colts they jes don" fit mah han proper.
Now Ah'm sure thet thar 'r others out thar thet AH ain't mentioned 'R hav any knowledge of sooo Ah suppose thet mah favorite pistol--- no thet ain't rite ither. Mah favorite Revolver would hafta be Th "Old Model"Vaquero "Th gun That's built lik a tank" ta quote the R.A.T. sayin. Yep Ah'd swear bh mah Ruger "old model" Vaquero jes as soon as Ah d swear by th King James version, 'n be jes as truthful too. As fur as a long arm it's a toss out between the Marli 'n the
Winchester "n Ah sorta lean toward th Winchester in .45 Colt. It has no recoil and is relativily less loud than th 30-30 believe it "r not. Oops, ya didn't ask 'bout long arms did ya? O well as we Cajuns say C'est la vie. Ah'll probably miss out on replyin ta thet survey 'cause Ah already answered thet question

A brace of '75 Remington's with 7 1/2" barrels and caliber 44-40 of course! They fit my hands the best, they shoot to POA right out of tha box, and the nickel plating adds style points ;D
I don't know, Frank. I like your original better, I think. ;D

Ruger Vaquero; built like a tank and ultimately reliable.
Second; Remington 1858 w/ Kirst conversion cylinders, just because they work, work well and feel right.

I like my .357 Ruger Vaquero and my .22 Heritage Rough Rider.  But, the Ruger is definitely my favorite.

Uberti Cattleman; .45LC; 7.5" barrels.

Got about 8 of 'em.  7 plowhandle grips and one Bisley for long range pistol shootin'.

They are inexpensive, feel sort of like real Colts, danged reliable, and pretty.

They work for me until I can afford real Colts; which may be never.  Haw! Haw! (sniff, sniff, ahem!)

My favorite CAS pistols are my Reminton 1875's.  They are just so cool.  Especially with shooting Black Powder out of them.  The 5.5 inch model feels so good in my hand it's like an extention of my arm.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

I started with Ruger .44's for the very same reason, and still have one rifle in .44, but I've switched to OMRV in .45 w/ 5.5" barrels.  I've just never had any problems with my Rugers, and ever though I owned other replicas in various barrel lengths and calibers that pointed a little easier, every single one of them had to have some smithing done.  Rugers just work, and keep on working.
Ruger 4-5/8" Vaquero and a Ruger 4-5/8" Bisley Vaquero. Both blued in .44 magnum. I had them both before I got into the sport and they do double duty as ranch/hunting guns. Can't beat them for strength, reliability and affordability!

Taurus Gaucho's in 45LC if I am shooting smokeless.
Toss up between 1860 Colt clone or Remmie 1858 clone for BP C&B, sometimes I go out with both matching, sometimes its one of each.

Highly tuned Cimarron Model Ps with USFA bolts and USFA base pins. I also had them antiqued.

Rugers are sturdy but kind of ugly.
