Just to let you know. I ordered my Pre-War in the first week of May. I got a call today, July 22 from my FFL that it has arrived. Since it also has a fancy single piece walnut grip, fire blue, black powder frame, I think that the revolver did not take a long period of time. Considering the FFl had to place the order and send money to USFA, it was very very quick.

By comparison, I ordered an LWRC assault rifle with a pinned 14inch barrel and sent them the Smith supressor I wanted and it took twice as long to get it made than this much more handmade revolver.

Now, if it is as well made as my Ainsworth/Custer, I'll be a super happy camper.

Got over today to pick up the Pre-war from my FFL. Before he handed it over to me he looks me in the eye and says...." You aren't going to shoot that gun? Are you?

So I reply, "Why not?"

He says..." Nothing that pretty should be shot" and I open up the package and am dazzled. The violet fire blue accents and the extra fancy walnut single piece grips make this better than any Colt, or for that matter, any other brand pistol or revolver I've owned.

Images soon.

Will I shoot it? Don't know as I can continue to shoot my Custer/ Ainsworth   Wink
