Forty-four years and about 2 1/2 hours ago Shawna said "I do" and I became a first time husband.

It hasn't all been good, but it mostly has. Got us a couple of fine kids, a great daughter-in-law, and a MAAAAHvelous grandson.

We're going to Outback Steakhouse and then come back home to watch The Quiet Man.

It's worked out so good I'm gonna see if she'll ship over for another forty-four years.

Ol 40 Rod is easing up on that 50th anniversary date. That's another milestone in a relationship.
