I finally found a child proof latch for the fridge.
My dogs are now mad at me.
AnnieLee
Why would the dogs be mad at you for a child proof latch?
Slim
Because it means they can no longer open the fridge and have a party of snacking when I am at verk!
I was coming home to messes that would scare even Trinity!
AnnieLee
I'll try it again. Do the dogs think they are children?

I'm pretty sure they think they are dogs. I dunno, since I can't read their minds. But it takes opposable thumbs to open that latch.
So, watch me have to eat my words when I get home to discover they've chewed off the latch.

Since I missed the cat discussion, here are some of mine.
I love kitties of all types, but I really love black kitties (Don't tell T.C. I said that!)
Did you ever get any pictures of the mess, Miss Annie?? It can't be much worse than my every day decor here in the hovel.

Taking pictures was the last thing on my mind.
Imagine, if you will, the door to the fridge standing open, a spaghetti sauce pot upside down between the door and the fridge, half its contents oozing out from under the pot onto the floor. A fresh orange juice container upside down next to the pot, OJ attempting to blend with the spaghetti sauce. Dinner plates vertically positioned between the fridge and the pot, contents unknown since the plates were licked clean. One of the plates is chipped. On the lower shelf of the fridge are the mashed pineapple remnants of pineapple upside down cake. Strewn over the kitchen floor and onto the carpet are several olives, with the salad bowl, emptied, on the living room floor. The dogs will eat lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe, but leave pineapple and olives. And unidentified "stuff" is dripped and walked all over the kitchen floor and living room carpet. The leftover roasted chicken is completely gone, bones and all.
On six different days, in the passed two weeks, I came home to that kind of mess.
They didn't break the latch today.
Whew.

If a pinepple upside-down cake is upside-down is it a pineapple cake or an upside-down pineapple upside-down cake.

Brown sugar helps oatmeal, too.
I was thinking about this the other day. Why does one put brown sugar on oatmeal and white sugar on cream of wheat?

I have threatened to thow jello cubes around a room. "I'll just leave it here in case you change your mind."
