Where did that butterfly go?
Slim
This is Tall Tales, Slim, the fastest folder on the 'net to go off topic!
Besides, that butterfly is flitting around here, someplace!
We went to Tandy this weekend. For Mother's Day, Will is going to make me a folding cup with a leather piece on the cover. The leather portion will have a butterfly on it.
He got a lot of other "goodies" and tools, too, but he can't have them until the interim grade reports come out.

What grade average does he have to get 'fore his gets the "goodies" and tools?
My next leather project will be a sheath for my 10" Bowie. But, it will have to wait since I have to replace my wood boiler with a LP boiler. My tax refund will help to pay for that. I'll save money on labor, because I'll be hooking it up myself.

No Ds or Fs. Since he HATES typing class, it won't be easy for him. I don't like a school system that is set up to be easy for smart kids to get bad grades. I'm not saying he is a genius nor an angel, but the system isn't helping him. (It didn't help matters when his dad pulled him out of school for a week to go to Disney World.)

I didn't like typing class, either. But, I learned enough to get by. Disney World.

I ditched typing at summer school because I got a babysitting job. My mother dropped the class in college. So Will has a nice tradition of hating typing. He hates it even more because he didn't sign up for it.
Since I don't like crowds, theme parks and I stay very far apart.
I wonder if Scattered Thumbs has ever been to Euro Disney?

Grrr, I hate dry firing. I know it would/could serve a purpose in helping with "transitions" and drawing from my holsters, but for simulated fire, it STINKS!
Welcome to the ISSF target shooting world
. Where you not only need to hit the target but have to hit it dead center
(if you want to take the full 10 points for each shot.
Quote from: AnnieLee on April 18, 2005, 08:58:57 am
If my revolver "clicks" but doesn't move with recoil, it screws up my target acquisition and my timing.
On this event you wait 7 seconds holding your pistol down, at a 45º angle, then the target will be exposed for 3 seconds during that time you’ll take aim and fire once then you lower your arm again and repeat the 7 3 seconds routine until you’ve completed a 5 shot string. As you see recoil won’t matter none since you only take a shot at a time.
Quote from: AnnieLee on April 18, 2005, 08:58:57 am
Okie, take two weeks of vacation, pack up your stuff and fly over here. You can have unlimited access to my range. It's not finished, but since it is in the woods, I'll be working on it until I can't get around any more.
That would be nice
, but impossible
. I still don’t know if I can take a couple of days off, for some range practice at the middle of the week.
Quote from: AnnieLee on April 18, 2005, 08:58:57 am
Why do you need range time for dry firing?
AnnieLee
I need range time for live firing dry firing alone won’t take you to the top
Sidenote. 3 times I tried to post this but verk got in the way.
PS. My reply to your email bounced back.

No he was about to get in his Virgin SUV and I was gettin' out of my car at the grocery store and he stopped gettin' in and stared at me. He was wearin' shorts, Birkenstocks and a High-why-anne shirt with pine-apples on it, why would you want pine-apples on a shirt?
Any way I stopped and stared a minute or two at him, shook my head, tipped my hat and went in to the store.

Wow, I was tired last night, Del's comment went right over my head. It's a good thing, too, I would have smacked him hard with Elle. Shame on you for even thinking that, Del!

I don't want to get rid of all yuppies, just the obnoxius ones. Sides that have ya ever smelled burnin' soy beans.
I don't mind folks that dress weird, just the ones that stare at folks who dress well.
Ya'd think the fool never seen a bib shirt with flowers embroidered on the bib.
Heck I wasn't wearin' the spurs or the gun.
Did lose my rowel at the store one day, they gave it back the next time I was in, it was in the managers office.
