Longs I’m spendin’ what I ought ta do is get me one the .22 conversion uppers for the 34. Was really impressed with the one Veeb stuck onna 17. Thing functioned flawlessly all mornin’. Lotta fun ta shoot ‘n put ‘em right where ya aimed ‘em.

Think ‘e sed it was $275.00 Seen ‘em cheaper but I'd want one werks good as that’n.

Got a friend with a Class 3, has an XM-177, short Nam era Seals type M-16, he has a 22 conversion, pain in the butt to load mags, but 22 LR is a hoot full auto.

Got a Ruger 10/22 that has more accesories fer it than any other gun I've seen. Can order a hand crank fer the trigger an git full auto kinda. Not much fun in kalifornia with the 10 round magaine limit, but it's an innerestin little item. Looks like fishin gear.

Ta plink 22 LR I got a soft spot fer any a the Ruger Mark series. Kin get a Mark 3 fer about 250 brand new.

In .22 I've got a Heritage SA, two cylinders. Long guns, I've got a Marlin semi carbine, and a 1947 vintage 39A. the 39A needs some work on the innards as it doesn't feed well. not sure if it doesn't like the REmmies I've got to feed it, or it's a mechanical problem. Had it worked on some, but still no joy. too bad, it's a right nice rifle to shoot. had to replace the stock, too much oil in the wrist from storage I guess. have to find me a good stock worker to get the final fitting and finish done......Buck

My Marlin 39 has problems too. It doesn't always release the next round from the magazine.

Steel Horse has a M39 an seems ta love it. I always wanted one. It's a direct decendant of the rifle Annie Oakly shot in the show. I've only had one Marlin jam an it was a fluke. Have heard that Winchester ammo is supposed ta work better in tube mag levers. Somethin ta do with a difference in case shape.

I've never owned any Marlin's or shot any either. I've always heard good things about the larger caliber lever action rifles used in CAS.

I love all of mine don't have any inttentions on parting with them... Really like the 45-70 CB makes them Tree Rats dissappear

A 45-70 is too much gun for tree rats....unless you really want to make them "disappear".

lever gun i use to make tree rats, sod poodles, chuck woods and bugs bunnies go away is my 99 Savage, the finest lever gun ever made.

Love my 99. Course mine is in 243 and them 70 gr vermint bullets goin' about 3400 fps really zap stuff.
