Hi pards

is there a US source for Chaparral parts--I actually need a trigger spring for a 1866. Is Charter Arms still doing the warranty work?  Mine is marked KBI/Charles Daley--I called them a couple of weeks ago and they said they would have to order one and get it out to me. Would the Uberti  part fit?  I might like to pick up some mainsprings while I'm at it.  The alternative is to buy some spring stock from Brownells and fabricate them (hey may trun into a cottage insdustry for me)

thanks
Willy

Go to www.thesmithshop.com and he should have all the goodies you need. He has some interesting spring replacement kits. Wink

I looked at the Smith shop web site.  Everything is identified as being for the model 1860, 66 and 73.  No mention of '76 applicability.  I imagine some parts would work, but I'm not sure.  Have you talked to them about '76 parts?
