I work at the local library, (where I am now in fact...) and someone turned in a bunch of videos for donation.  Sometimes these things are cataloged in and put on the shelf, but usually, they are simply put in the "book sale" area to raise more money for the library..Only employees get first pick and we get them for free!

Well in that bunch of videos that got turned in was, "the Sacketts," "Tom Horn", "Quigley Down Under," "Return to Lonesome Dove," "McKenna's Gold" and "How the West Was Won"  and guess who nabbed all of them...Yep..that little old (never mind how old) tarheel..me....My lucky day....

Try via interlibrary loan. That's how I got my hands on a copy.

Dog... Tom Horn is available on DVD now.  I assume we're talkin' about the Steve McQueen version.

Well, now you know the reason!  Dern library staff absconds with it all before it makes it to the shelves.  That's why the only thing left are 15 copies of life on the Serenghetti Plains!
