Capt. Elliot....

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I really like the early look you've achieved, except the "92" and the "94" look out of place in comparison with the rest of your gear.

Thanks all.

No worries at all Bill. My lovely wife just bought me a Spencer Carbine for my birthday and I will be using that over my '94. Next on the shopping list (does it ever end) is a pair of '58 Remingtons to mount in pommel holsters for me and a '73 Winchester for my wife Michelle she is sitting in the front of the pic).

I think that is great!! How did you go about getting that look.......It looks really authentic and that is what I strive for.....

Don't personally care for all the B-Western stuff...or for that matter anything beyond the year 1880.

Its so easy to document the gear for just about any time period now, that getting it right should be all our goals.

You and your gang would fit right in NCOWS.

Glad you like it, bit I have to admit that I have fudged the jacket I am wearing. It is a custom made copy of the Charlie Prince jacket from the latest 3.10 to Yuma. It is leather and is a great jacket but not exactly authentic.  ;)

I do have a nice wool Frock Coat that I wear as well.

Leo got a couple of rolls of quarters and went to Walmart and practiced on the pony by the front doors before he got on Buddy.

Leo, you look like you oughta be up on one,

sometimes you don't get the chance to ride em.

Grandpa threw me up on a horse before I could ever think about walkin,  they even threw me up on the gentle cows out in the pasture,
this picture is kinda hard to see, but I was about a year and half.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else
