Case Hardened TTN coach gun
« on: January 28, 2009, 08:55:14 AM »
Did TTN ever have case hardened from the factory on their replica Colt SxS shotgun?  If so, was it just a ruger type chemical treatment or real case hardening.

Thanks in advance

Not from the factory, however TTN's Walt Johnson offered it as option on the guns he sold , not the guns he sold to Taylor Cimarron & EMF.

It was true Bone case hardend Color and done here in the States.
It added about $100 to the retail and is/was down right beautiful.
No longer done by Walt, but thats not to say you can't have it done aftermarket.
when planets align...do the deal !

I have one and it sho am purdy.

It would take a lotta gold dust to prise it from me.

The only way it could be better is if it had 26" barrels.
