Life is Good

Seems ta be a lot of us here that watch them, but no place ta discuss em.

Saw one last night called Attack! that despite the goofy name, was very well done.  Jack Palance, Eddie Albert, Lee Marvin and even a young Buddy Ebson are in it.  It does a good job of showing the different natures of different men in war time.  It's one of the only old WWII movies I have seen that deals with the issue of "fragging" (though that term is of course not used).  It came out in 56, and isn't like the earlier propaganda movies where everyone is a hero.

Most WW2 flicks were made right after the War, when the feelings were still strong. By 56, things had changed, Communism was the big thing.
