Hey All.

Buck, Lil had one of them spurs in the same spot.  She found a doctor who did something really amazing.  He made a tiny incision and removed the joint.  Then he made another one in her forearm and cut out a piece of ligament which he rolled into a ball and used it to replace the bone he had taken,  then he connected everything.  She wore a splint for about a month and then had some excercizes to do everyday, but its good as new.  As fer me, I really gotta work on ma blood pressure, takin some pills made outta garlic, cayenne an some other stuff.  Seems ta be workin.

     Sunny an cold here.

I had the same thing on my left hand, wasn't too bad till I got in a car accident and the bone spur started to grow.  Wound up having the same surgery, it's called Intercarpal Arthroplasty.  Arcey and Tensleep can avow to the fact that I shot the two day Blue Ridge Roundup with a cast on my left hand and arm, which turned out to be a good thing, because when the doctor took the cast off about a week later I had to go through 12 weeks of physical therapy.

Wouldn'ta doubted it fer a second.  The time with the cast on was actualy better for her than the theropy phase.  They skeered her inta thinkin she could blow the whole thing by not followin orders and make it wrecked fer good.  Glad they appealed ta her fears cause she aint usually one ta follow orders.  Guess it's been about a year now, an everthin's fine.

I'd wish we would get a good snow again, but it hasn't shown it's face around here in years. Sad

Trinity.  You should be OK in Richmond tomorrow.  Bring your rain coat.  Right now they are having a "wintery mix".  Tomorrow should be a high of 57deg with rain all day.  I am having freezing rain right now.

None of that mass-marketed stuff for me. I prefer small independant micro-brews. Tongiht it is Oak Barrel Stout.

Best of luck to you SP!

SB, I'm not so sure about acorn vanilla.  Sounds kinda funky to me.  The main thing is that YOU enjoy it!

Buck, Michelob started selling a tasty Honeyweiss.  I like it, but have to be in the mood for a sweetish beer.
