If you're dealin' with criminals, you gotta be able to think on your feet and bluff your way. I've always been a good sized guy, so I never really had too much trouble gettin' my point across, one way or the other.

Just read through this thread; the theme recalled to me some (un)fond memories of days of yore.  Seems I was always in hot water for speaking my mind.  I could tell you a lot of horror stories, but that would sound like I was complaining.  Suffice it to say that a lot of "minority" or other sensitive type folks did not like to be around me.

Tensleep, that is a good 'un.  I think I'll copy that, and re-do it and send it to all of my elected officials; they haven't heard much from me in a while.  At the end, I'll add:

      "Oh, yeah, that is your job, isn't it?"

Need to remind them that they are not invisible; some of us still watch, whether we can do much about it, or not.

Back in 1948, we had folks vote several times down in South Texas, funny thing was that they had been dead for several years. That's how we wound up with LBJ as our US Senator.
