Just got the Sambar stag grips for my new USFA.  They were made by the good folks at www.elenhunting.com and they fit perfectly.  Not overly thick like most stag grips you see.  They try to keep them as close to the dimensions of the stock grips as possible without sacrificing the grain of the stag.  Roy Rogers would be proud!

Sharp gun!  I like when a grip maker can take a rough grained grip material and make them smooth by sizing them correctly, which is tough due to the areas that get pretty thin.  Most people are scared to try due to the possibility of fracturing them and having to start over, which gets mighty expensive with rarer materials.  I have heard all good things from the folks at elenhunting.

That gun sure looks sweet Wink...I was wanting to get stag grips for my SS NRV's but the price X2 scared me. Then I thought I'd buy the antler stock and make em myself...but even though I've made several wood grips that looked good, the thought of ruining one or more of those spensive  antler stocks gave me pause again...After seeing yours, I got the hots to do it Grin. I'll think on it some more Undecided
