Dip it in egg ,rolled in cornmeal & Flour ..and thrown the hell out

That's kinda like cookin' a carp. Clean the carp and put on a cedar plank and put them in the oven, Cook until done and remove from oven. Eat the cedar plank and throw the carp away.   Fried okra is good but the boiled stuff is terrible.

Them carps is God's joke on fisherman. 
      I used ta like hominy cooked in bacon grease.  Made a good side dish, but ya have ta aquire a taste fer it.

Liver by itself, cooked, no way, liver sausages, yes, used to eat Brawn-Swiger about 2-3 times a year, was enough.  Funny thing is, since they took out the gall bladder I want it once or twice a week.  don't know, but my doctor says aften if you crave something it has something your body lacks.

Now when i was grownin' up in both sides of the family Lima beans meant the green, immature ones and butter beans was the same beean, ripened, dried and then soaked and cooked.

That's one thing makes the net so fun, finding out how different we sometimes call the same thing.

My wife fixs butter beans once in awhile, I don't like em' but I eat em' to keep her happy.
