My Cut down Remington
« on: February 07, 2012, 07:34:36 PM »
Here is a picture of my cut down Remington today, the last Picture posted was a couple of years ago when it was still without any bluing. Since then it's just had a cold blue put on it, because I like the way it wears pretty quickly, giving the gun a more "holster wear" look. The holster is a repro of a civil war navy "frog", used for the colt 1851 navy in place of a sword. The holster is from Dixie Gun works and has a right side forward tilt, making it great to hide under a frock coat or sack coat.

Nice gun . . . nice practical rig for it too . . .   :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.
