Looks kinda like Ken Curtis.  One time member of the Sons of the Pioneers, and most notably Festus Hagen.

He also sang with Tommy Dorsey's band prior to the Sons Of The Pioneers.

I remember him as one of the stars of the TV series, "Ripcord" in 1962, two years before Festus Hagan

He also was in two episodes of "Have Gun, Will Travel" playing a character (a wolfer???) that was the precursor of Festus.
Paladin's comment as he throws him in a stream at the end of the first episode -- "In the name of suffering humanity, You're going to take a bath!"

Speaking of Festus, does anyone remember where one of his relatives wanted to shoot off "just the little hangy-down part"?  ;D

If'n you’re talkin' about Gunsmoke, Festus was a Hagen.  You might be thinkin' of Burt Reynolds character of Quint Asper who was part Comanche.

Ken was also in Conager. He was a member of the Regimental Singers in RIO GRANDE. They just happened to have been The Sons of the Pioneers also.
