Found a .300 Sav case in the pasture this morn.
Muggy yesterday. T'storms started at 2 AM today. Got .8". 'Tis 60 and sunny. "Becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms through mid afternoon...then showers and thunderstorms likely late. Highs 82 to 87. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph...becoming south 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent."

I went by my nearby convience store, they had smoked sausages on a bun, 2 for $2. I got some chips and a drink and took them home and ate them. No clue for supper.

I saw the aftermath of the one that hit there about 10 years ago. The concrete foundations were the only thing left in a lot of the cases. That one went up 35W.

Oldest grand daughter next door got her degree ‘n hooked with a guy from Oklahoma City she was in school with. Gotta job ‘n moved there with him. She was back here for Mother’s Day. Talked to ‘er. Don’t think she likes it much. Sez there’s nothin’ there ‘cept a pro basketball team. Tolt her she was gonna enjoy the tornadoes. I didn’t know how soon or close. Gonna be addin’ the folks over that way to the prayer list.
My thought’s fer Lil, Leo. Hope it all works out.
Met cuzzin’ Tom for dogs out his way. Nice out so we sat outside ‘n watched the scenery. Don’t tell ‘is wife. Got dark. Then darker. Then windy. The folks runnin’ the place come out ‘n took the umbrella o’er the table away ‘n the rains came. Waited ‘til it slacked down some ‘n hit the parkin’ lot. There, parked ‘cross the way from the station wagon, was a pickup with a small sports boat, prolly 12’ or so, turnt upside down hangin’ out the back. Friends ‘n neighbors, the boat was covered by a clear plastic tarp. Reckon they didn’t want it ta get wet. Who’d wanna wet boat?
Spaghetti ‘n raw vegetables. Closin’ in on that time.

Prayers for all the people affected by the tornadoes. Trace Atkins won a huge amount of money for the Red Cross just last night and I don't suppose the finale of the Millionaire could have come at a better time. Having his chosen charity win at just the right time is nothing short of a blessing.
KP taday were tuna melts fer lunch an sketty with garden sauce an garlic bread what's been ridin the pine in the freezer fer no one knows how long fer dinner. Grillin fer a crowd tammara, hope they like yardbird thighs. an baked beans.
