Just wondering how many of you plan on attending the convention next month?

Will; can't wait. Sent reg. long ago. I believe the KVC will be well represented this year. Griz and Monica, Bob And Pat Croft, Larry and Carolyn Roach, Books (Michael) and Stacy Tatham, Major Matt Lewis, though I'm not sure he would claim KVC affiliation in public. And of course Michele and I. Heres praying for NO ICE. jt

Now Trap, hold on there, lets don't go makin' such a big ruckus about 'ice', cuz after all, its a well-known fact that: #1. Its not an 'official' NCOWS Convention unless there is snow ON the ground and ice UNDER the snow, and besides, #2. What are you and Books O'Toole gonna put in your Mint Juleps?

Kelley, Steve and I will be there. Kelley and I will be the ones with the drab clothing on, nothing fancy, so we won't stand out. Actually we will be both wearing all new gowns and outfits, like we always do hot off the sewing machine and with buttons being sewn on as we drive out.

Providing schedules work out and the weather doesn't create a significant problem (after all it'll be a 12-13 hour drive for us), I think GW Schofield and I are going to do our best to attend.

Same here, Will, although I do believe we might have met, though very briefly, at the Convention 2-3 years ago. Nonetheless, it will be good to meet/see you again, provided we are successful in making the trip.

Yeah, I understand about GW, but doncha know the best way to keep horse thieves and no-accounts out of trouble and to keep a close eye on them is to keep 'em in custody, so to speak.

For a ne'er-do-well, GW's pretty easy to travel with, so that part won't be a problem.

After all, he and I have been friends since long before he took to the wrong side of the law. Keep thinkin' one of these days he'll get back to the straight and narrow. If not, it's apt to be a narrow rope and a straight drop. I'd hate to see it come to that.

Dave, I thought I could recall meeting you at the convention a aways back. It was probably the time I met GW. He and I hit it off right away. I sure did pain me to shotgun him in his camp the next Summer but like they say it was just business.

I think you're right about the timing. As I recall that was GW's first time at the convention as well as mine.

As far as shotgunning him in his camp, don't fret. Rest assured he'd a done the same to you given half a chance.
