I'm at work, been playing with horseshoes, and I'm 'bout to decide a certain pard has got a somewhat odd foot, but it's do able and will send him a pm in a bit.   Fact PM me a phone number and I'll call you when I get a chance this evening.  To many folks in and out to try a conversation right now, but I got no problem callin' a friend to chat when I ain't workin' either.

Buck I can take care of yer feet and the horse ya rode in on.  Park him in the alley and we'll open the back door and then we'll go out and measure his feet to, cause I sell iron shoes fer them.

Course yer gonna have ta trim the hoofs and nail them on, I ain't never done that and from what I hear I ain't gonna start at my age with my back problems.

Me neither, Del I shot yesterday and with the chilly temps, my back was telling me about it last night. At least I was a good boy and have all my guns and brass cleaned already. Shot the 38-40's and didn't crack a case, so I think I've got the sizing all set right now. Decided that I've got to get the one revolver worked on, trigger pull is too light! Went back to the original hammer spring and it still only has a 1.5lb pull. Too light and doesn't match up with the other one that's at 2.25 or so. It cost me one miss for sure. Had three on the day, one of which was a rifle miss which is a little unusual for me as well. Still have some rust on the edges or the chill doesn't agree with my fingers..........Buck

Yep, on the way to work, on the way home from work, at the grocery store...

 

Did some work on the home range today. Built a frame for targets, cut some PVC, and dug holes for the PVC. Now there's two different places to put that frame, for different distances and sunlight.

The bad news was I don't have anywhere near the 100 yds I wanted in the range space. The most I could get and still have a decent backstop of earth was 30 yds. Dang it.

We did get to shoot and I tested out my new contact lenses with the '73. I can see the front sight clearly, now. Minny shoots awesomely, and wants to shoot quickly! It was fun.

Can you imagine though when we were kids, only folks in Sci-Fi movies could walk around the grocery store and talk to friends clear across the country.   Course it can work against ya too, in November of 2002 I missed deer season cause I was in the hospital, to make matters worse they kept callin' me each time they got a deer.

It's like deja vu all over again...what Thumbs said.

On that subject, I used to experience deja vu fairly often when I was a lot younger.  Hasn't happened at all in many, many years.  I wonder why that is.

Maybe at my  age I really have seen it all and it just doesn't register any more.

Any thoughts on the subject?

I still get it once in a while, just not as strongly as when I was a teenager. My son gets it all the time and he's fifteen.

I overslept, had barely enough time to hit the bathroom and walk the dogs before I had to leave. Got here and have been in meetings ever since. Still haven't had my cup of coffee for the day.
