The plane driver is called a 'pylit'.
I was a pylit in the Cavalry...worked in the stable.
The Sarge told me to get a shove, scoop up the apples, an' "pyl it outside".

Don't worry, I'm gonna see if Annie will let us use her flannel pantaloons fer the shoot, though we'll most likely lose Forty Rod when they go out the back.
(How comes I got that strange hair on the back of my neck feelin' again. Annie what are you doin' with that hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
)
Anyway I wrapped the nose gear with 2 layers of wet rawhide and tacked it in place before we left on the trip, just in case.
Humm has any one seen Duke lately?
Durn, if'n yer runway wasn't snowed in, we could stop an pick ya up.

If'n your py'lit could get it into Drippin' Springs, he could probably belly it onto the snow.
Then sled it on out.
Might get away with it in a Lear, but a prop job just wouldn't hack it.
Oh well, could'nt get to the airport anyway. You saw what the trails around here look like.
We'll just curl up, sip cider, rum toddies and champane.
Besides I don't think we could get off the snow with my pumpkin mortar and ammo loaded on board, fer'sur if'n Forty Rod is strapped to the wing.

With Forty Rod tied down in the cabin fer safe keepin' the pantaloons er rather the shoot er rather chute is thrown out the back. (Annie watch that hat, I'm helpin' guide us in, ya want ta get us all kilt.
) The cyber Lear jet comes to a stop on the crooked runway of the Dripping Springs Texas International Airport. On the nose gear is a yaller dog chewin' on the rawhide ren-forcement.
The pylit, taxis to a 7-11 and fuels the plane, while the passangers await Big Hext and the essspressoooo.
The left rear tire looks low so Delmonico helps out by puttin' a couple a quarters in the machine and airin' the tires.

Still stuck in the basement doin' laundry and waitin' fer his wife ta get home Delmonico decides that Hext is not comin' with esspresssooo and decides to get goin' before it gets dark. Because the stewardess is so surley on this plane, the passangers load up at the 7-11 with beef sticks, jerky and soda pop and other such junk.
The plane is now to heavy with the load of fuel and junk food, so help is needed to get it back in the air. Forty Rod refuses to push, so Delmonico goes to the emergency supplies and gets 4 gross of bottle rockets. Two hundred and eighty eight fer each wing. (Redneck JATO?)
With out Slim here to do the dangerous verk, Delmonico lights all the fuses real quick, he barley gets back inta the plane when it takes off with a whoooooosh of red sparks.
(Dern I hope Slim didn't get the explodin' kind.)
After the plane levels of Delmonico decides Slim did right.

Uhmmm hmmm. So, I go out to the store to get some fruit to dip in heated chocolate for the best kind of fondue, and I come back to find Delmonico's stolen my flannel pantaloons for his contraption!

I was doin' laundry and I was bored, what can I say.
Did ya like my airport I found? What kinda fruit? Is it dried fruit, I like dried fruit dried fruit is good fer ya. Ooooops, said to much.
I invented a new dish at supper, venison with this really good horseraddish and butter sauce, fact it was so good I might not need dried fruit.

Fresh pineapple, apple, strawberries, and new this year, clementine oranges. Might try dipping some pretzels since I have some.
In the other pot will be some hot broth. Got chicken strips marinating in garlic sauce and beef in teryaki sauce to get cooked in that pot.
Also have some meatballs, shrimp, chips, dip, and of course, grape cider for the midnight toast!
Come on over, we've got plenty to share, and if that runs out, I still have a ham in the fridge, and the makings for avocado pie.
Yum.

Aye, a real Smithfield ham.
I have some dried fruit, but that's for the fruitcake I haven't had time to make.

Don't bake no fruitcake, AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to have sourdough biscuits and blackberry jelly with real butter, but I had to euthanize Pierre, my sourdough stater today and start a new on, Newbrasskey is hard on sourdough staters. He's been ill lately, had him in IC, he's been on life support and today I pulled his plug, he just could not get it up no more.
Now I got to think up another French name fer the new one I started. He's bubblin' with excitment right now.

FINNEGAN, how could you move the story of our everyday lives, loves, challenges, and triumphs to The Tall Tales wire?
It's ALL TRUE, so help me, Hannah! Not a word of fiction (well maybe just that one word) in the whole thread.
I'm so ashamed that you put us over here with them prevaricators, tall tale tellers, yarn spinners, and outright liars.
Folks will think I'm a politician, Enron executive, or fiction writer if I have to stay in this crowd.
I'll never be able to show my face at the Honest Abe Lodge again.
I couldn't stand the shame.

<Thwaps Del some more with the hat he insulted>
I was up by 5:30 Saturday morning, then was on the long road to a match. Got lost. Showed up way late, was going to socialize then go visit with some friends, but the folks said "Annie, get yer guns!" So Will and I got them out and shot with the folks.
I shot the last stage GUNFIGHTER.

If'n you sent me the laddertude and loungeertude I could a got us a saddlelite tintype of the range and flew ya down there in the cyber-lear jet. I got an extra can a ether to ge the left injun started.
If it don't start, Ritas got a cat, I can build a jet engine out of a cat, I don't even have to use my new multi-tool ta do it.
Cool just remembered the neighbor has a Siameese cat also, could mount the pair on each wing and have matchin' engines.
Can't ya just hear the noise whe we take off. Meooooooooooooow, Raooooooooooooooooooow and the pssssst as we shut them down as we taxi to the terminal.
(I think I need another eeeessssppprrreesssooo.)

Sorry Annie, we're gonna have to but the cyber-Lear back in the hanger.
While we were waitin' fer the cawardnates, it has started icin' here.
I have been pourin' boilin' water from my teakettle on the wings and scrapin' with the ice scraper from my car and I can't keep up with it.
I even got the magnum warthog one out of the trunk (concrete float) and it ain't keepin up.
So I got it in the hanger, (covered with my soogun tarp) and both cats are back where the belong.
I even put the turpntine (cat jet engine stater) back in the can.

But I'm bored, my runway is iced up, they even closed the store early. Course nobody was comin' in anyway.
I got us a new International Airport to fly our Cyber-Lear Jet to.
Got the cordinates found and plugged in ta the compooper for the Otto-pyliot. Whats really cool is that this town it's at, I know every one that lives in it. We must fly to see it, it is a really cool airport, I been lookin' at it on the saddle-lite picture.

maybe you should use an elephant instead of the jet.
Huh?
... wait a minute
... It's not elephant that I mean
. It's one of them gizmos with the prrroppellers on top. an.. heli.... hali... an helicomputer. Yes! That's it! An helicomputer
. You won't need a runway with one of those.

I got one a dem fancy egg-beater things in tha back-yard, but we can't fly it right now cause I don't have a cotter-pin for the "OH Poop Nut".
Ya don't want ta fly one a them contrapions with out the "Oh Poop Nut" torqued down to the proper specs and a cotter key of the regulation size in place.
No one has one here in town the right size, even called my nephew that works at Westlake Hardware and they don't have any either.
Sides that it is starten to snow pretty good here and it was still drizzlin' and freezin' not good weather to be flyin' an egg-beater in even if yer "Oh Poop Nut" is properly torqued down and cotter pinned in place.
