What did they do, tear down the old place and build a vacant lot?

Well, Forty, it's like this. My son makes me feel old, but keeps me young. He has introduced me to Jay and Silent Bob. We watched "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" tonight. All the F bombs were bleeped out. I'm 46, a mother, and moderately successful in life, and I really should not be laughing so hard at such stupidity.
It was fun.

Delmonico reads the posts and comes roarin' in, jingle bobs a tinklin' and demands to know how much noise ya want!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry folks, I was where I could not get a connection today till 6 pm. I see it was broke most the day any way.
I got to work on my car in tha mornin' and won't be back online till at least 6 tommorow, so someon e esle will have to be mean to my pal Slim.
With that Delmonico, trows a few bottles at the woodstove, shoots a hole in the roof with his Sharps and has Duke the Yaller dog from the Newbrassky thread on Tall Tales lift his leg on the bar. With that he makes his exit and goes back to the dugout to bake anise cookies.

Slim walks in with a scowl on his face and a badge on his shirt. "I hear Del and Duke were in here disturbin' the peace. Time ta round up a posse to track 'em down and bring 'em ta justice. Anyone with me? Ya get ta wear a badge.

While Slim is standin' there with his tin snips cuttin' badges out of old peach cans, Delmonico sneaks up behind him and peppers his hind side with not a load of rock salt, but instead a double barreled load of anise seed,
He then slowly walks to his mule and rides slowly out of town, knowin' Slim will be picken' anise seed out of his hindside fer a while.

Duke stares, not his fault Delmonico put scent on the bar to make him mark it. At the blam of the shotgun, he high tails it for home.

Good news, there are about 4 or 5 more Jay and Silent Bob films. I think I am a little off center with this forum, I love CASS but, am a little different, but anyway the films are progressively irrevent but poke fun at a lot of sacred things. If you want more try to watch from the beginning.
Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma. Then Kevin Smith ( Silent Bob) has an Evening With, that is also good.

Seafarer,
My introduction to Jay and Silent Bob was in Dogma. I laughed my arse off. Since then I have seen Clerks and an evening with Kevin Smith. It looks like I'll just have to get the entire collection. My mother, a staunch and staid Catholic lady, tried to hide her laughter at Dogma. It is so irreverent, it is bad, and so bad, it is hysterical, at least, to me. My son and I talked about it this morning. I don't know why I love movies like this (or Airplane, or Monty Python, or the Marx Brothers) , but can't stand stuff like Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura.
I'm thinking that maybe you aren't so far off-center from some CAS shooters. A bunch of us are just "bozos on the bus."

Hmm. I'm thinking we outta catch that Landshark and shanghai him over here to munch on Forty Rod a while. Or maybe drag Forty over to the Chatting for cowpokes thread and chum the waters.
One thing's for certain, he can't have my flannel petticoat!

In this neighborhood I would stay on the bus and keep the doors locked. Slim didn't and he's been pickin' anise seed outa his arse all afternoon.
Now if I can just catch that FFg, fer the hair thing.
