You don't never wan't to be 'round me before I've had my coffee... I don't want to be around me before I've had my first coffee!

Happy Birthday Forty Rod (my long lost brother)!

Didn't do squat.

My wife took me to lunch yesterday at my favorite Mexican place.  Got the first bad meal I ever got there.

She had classes last night, so that took care of the evening.

Picked my girl-kid up from the airport today and she bought lunch, then hung around until my wife got home and took us out to supper at Steer and Stein, and I got the worst meal I ever got there, too.

Guess I'm gonna get skinny.

Got my new boots, a fringed leather coat from Scully, and a new 8" bowie knife from Mike Shelhart (still waiting for the sheath to be made.).

I'm living high on the hog.

Thanks for the wishes.

Sure is quiet around here.

What did they do, tear down the old place and build a vacant lot?

Where is everybody?

I was enroute. The TSA folks didn't hassle me and I got to the airport over 2 hours early, so all was well. My plane was mostly empty. TransAir tells people to arrive at the airport 90 minutes before the flight. A team of girls who had been to Orlando for a sporting event arrived about 110 minutes early. The line to check baggage at the Kiosks was over 90 minutes long and there was only one human helping people. The line for the TSA security was about 30 minutes long. 26 girls did NOT make it onto our plane. One of the mothers was on the plane, I don't know why she didn't stay and help the coach get those kids on the flight.

I skipped the long line and did curbside check-in.

Thanks for keeping me company while I was away, Forty!

Anybody gonna be at Trail Town next week?

Find me and say 'Hoedy'!

Nope, I'll be shooting with the Potomac Rangers next week, if the weather allows. Trail Town sounds great, though, I hope you have fun!
