.22 short to 8"guns, explosions of many kinds, helicopters, race car engines, various factory noises, smoking all contributed to my hearing loss.
Probably getting hit in the head a lot didn't help, either.

Generaly folks that go around saying a guy eats feces get hit in the head a lot. Specially when I'm that guy.
Twas motorsicks an guns that got me. I'm perty careful these days. I recently came ta the conclusion that I was mortal.
