Major, That's a nice one. I always wanted an Olds Mobubble 442 of any kind, especially a ragtop, with a W-30 package.

I always thought this gaudy offerin' from Hurst in 69 was kinda cool in it's own way:
Although to be truthful this rag top is more my style:
Even got the right engine.

I always attended the races at Amarillo, whether I raced or not. Linda was usually there if "Hemi Under Glass" or the Olds Tornado was there. I never got tired of seeing those long legs and tight fitting clothes. Linda still looks purty good, A pin-up woman for us Old Dudes!

The lower tire pressure has bit KB and BK real hard. June Bug has battled handling all day. Wonder Wimp and MM are having Battery problems. Carl has been digging all day and worked himself up to 3rd. Five-time seems to be up and down. Who wants it the worst?

He may be cleaning restrooms and sweeping the floors at work, after yesterday's performance. That is, if he still has a job. It was good to see Stewart-Haas finish 1-2 yesterday. As bad as I hate to say it, I think that JuneBug needs a change of scenery. The job at HMS has just not worked out for him for the most part. He has lost his MOJO for the time being.

Thinkin' Tex is onta sumthin'.
Don't take my word for it. If anyone is really interested in what's goin' on with the 88, look up the stats for the 25 since Tim Richmond left it. Compare how the 25, or the 5 for that matter, has run versus the 24 'n 48. The 88 is the 25.
It ain't all Earnhardt. The efforts were concentrated on the winners before he got there, they still are 'n they will be when he leaves. Currently 'e 'n Martin are runnin' support for the other two. Johnson has won more championships than Earnhardt has races since he's been there. That should tell even the most childish, ignorant 'n star-struck fan somethin'. Even those who suffer an affliction that isn't fixable.

I'm wonderin' if the 5 team will do better when KK is in place. Arcey is right about Wonder Wimp and 5 Time getting better support. We are hlfway through the 2011 season and a lot of folks that won races last year haven't won this year. Wins count more this year as in the past. Junebug has lost his confidence that he can win again..

Good racing the past couple days: however, nothing too exciting,,,,,
Thor Sports Racing is still on the march and Cuz Carl wins another Nationwide pretty dominantly...
I do not see what it is worth comparing ancient history of the 25 car to the 88 and/or the 5 cars.....
The chassis back in 1986 of the Tim Richmond era { Tim Richmond's story pretty tragic in itself with illness and a BS trumped up NASCAR drug test } has change several ways since then; additionally, the total revamping to the "CoT".
It just does NOT make sense that Rick Hendrick spend that kind of money to keep all the "secrets" for the 48 & 24.....
Mark Martin and JR are just as big { or BIGGER } of names as Johnson and Gordon so once again it does NOT make sense to keep the 88 and 5 cars "down in the struggle".....
Heck..... Rick changed up teams { 'cept 48... ain't broke don't fix it } and moved JR into the 48's house and MM into the 24's....
Shook it up damn good and the season started off like it worked; however, it seems that it's going back to the Same Ol' "poop".
For what it's worth as I see it: Mark is looking to ease lightly into retirement like Bill Elliot and Ken Schrader, then JR needs to get over a ten year old memory with the other BS that Teresa Earnhardt pulled in destroying DEI
Get his mind right with some ATTITUDE and take hold of his OWN Destiny like Fat Tony did
and that's my couple coppers
Maybe Tony is JR's answer

The Legacy of being Dale Sr's namesake would be hard to live up to anyone. Junebug needs some confidence to regain his MOJO. I don't have an answer. Maybe he needs an analyst to sort out his problems. He's not getting any younger and he needs to get back on track ASAP. The Mustangs were impressive last night. The 22 was competetive until valvetrain problerms dropped a cylinder and put him out of contention. It would be nice to see the Camaros in Nationwide to even the playing field.
