Prior to our family vacation last summer, knowing that we were passing through the Ridgway/Ouray area, we bought the special edition of True Grit, with the commentary and extras.  We got to see some of the locations and ate at the True Grit Cafe.  That night, our hotel had a DVD player in the room, so we were able to watch the movie.  It was all perfect except that we couldn't spend more time there--we were on too tight of a schedule.  What great locations, even if they aren't authentic.
