Italian Proof Marks, Year of Manufacture
« on: January 24, 2008, 05:07:15 PM »
Some body sent me this a couple of years ago . I ran across it and thought it might be of interest to some of us that own Italian repros.
The mark appears in a small box on the right side of the frame of Piettas, Ubertis and ASPs. I assume any other Italian Manufacturer will follow the same system.

Thanks Fingers, that's a great link. I used the info from Noz and found that the Uberti Remington Navy I bought the other day was made in 1971. Pretty neat stuff.
