Well, that's because you have one of them handy dandy NWMP carbines.  And you are a more experienced levergunner than the gent in the video! Smiley

I see he takes his time ejecting the shells mine with dummy rounds throws them about eight feet with a smooth work of the lever.  Have hit the display cases once with them inside the gun store but no cracked glass

Guys, I'm wanting a '76 BAD,,,so I come and read here a lot. Since I seen the talk went to 'ejection'..I have a question,,but it concerns my '73...If I may ask...

My '73...with a authoritative stroke of the lever,,only tosses the spent brass maybe a foot high and back,,,with a milder lever,,,,maybe 4"....enough,,,,,but is this common with these rifles ? I do not anticipate a ejection prob,,and this is plenty 'nuff...but is that 'normal' ,,I guess I'm asking ?

Thanks

MD,,,,,*trying to make deal with the Devil for a new '76 win

Marshal;  Do you catch the empties on your hat brim?  Must save a lotta time policing your brass.

Ahh yes, a Soot Lord! Wink  Gots me some of them specks my own self! Grin

My Uberti 1876 throws the empties up and away pretty smartly, depending of course on how smartly I work the lever. Wink  It is the nature of the design. Smiley

Marshal, you NEED one of these rifles. Cool  Life's too short to shoot uninteresting rifles! Grin

Grizzley,,my pap used to say,,,'buy your guns with care...one might die with his gun in his hand, and you sure don't want them to find you with an ugly gun. !'

Im working on the devil right now...wringing out some here,,some there,,who knows... I do want a '76 BAD.

Personally, I love them toggle link guns..although,,I have no first hand experience with the '76,,but I can see it being a rather efficent and enjoyable hunting rifle...

So,,,good thoughts on me finding a hole in lifes expenses would be appreciated , pards...

as you said Grizzley,.   'Life's too short to shoot uninteresting rifles! '
