Shot my new Walker today. First five on paper to check sights. Next twenty five on steel. I am really impressed with the quality of the Uberti Walker, It is accurate, timing is spot on, trigger pull is smooth, and it shoots like a house a fire. Shooting the equivelent of six stages without a single misfire. Out of thirty shots only one time was there a minor cap jam that I could not cock with one hand. Using two hands to overcome the resistance was all it took. Using stock nipples, #10 Remington caps, wonder wad between powder and ball and lube over ball. The powder was Dupont 2F that is 47 years old. The lube is 50 % toilet bowl wax and 50% Crisco.
I planned on using this for Plainsman events, but it is so much fun I may have to start shooting Frontiersman
