Holster for a Cimarron Lightning?
« on: December 06, 2007, 10:04:42 PM »
Can anyone help me find a source for a holster for a 3 1/2" bbl Lightning? I've linked to a bunch of sites but haven't found a holster designed specifically for a Lightning.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Buffalo Arms has some shoulder holsters listed, I think from Cimarron. I don't know of any others right off.

RL Hanchett.... bluesman@acd.net

Made a beauty for his ... but I think he has since traded the gun for a Richards & Mason, he may still have the holster.
or I'm sure he with make you one...
even as handy as I'm with leather ... he's my Holster maker  ;)

You might consider a Lightning spring rig for your Lightning pistol.   I have one from River Junction that Irish Dave made better and it works really well for my USFA Sherriffs model as well as my hideout Schofield.   Regards.  Deadeye.

I made a few here for my wife's Model P Jrs, which is the same frame, just different grips. If you can find a holster for a Colt Frontier Scout .22, that will fit ya perfect.
The ones I made are also for a 3 1/2" barrel. I have patterns handy if ya need em. DM

That is where I got mine from, the wife went to 5.5" barrels so I got her new holsters.  So I have two 3.5" holsters that I don't need.
