How's about signin' me up.  I'm going to be getting a Cimarron NWMP carbine in the very near future.  Can't afford an original, but have been fascinated by these big bore leverguns since I first heard of them.

Please sign me up. I got a chance to handle a few '76s at Turnbull's, not long ago. They told me, later, that the fingerprints and drool wiped right off! I think I feel a "bug" coming on!  Grin

Hello the campfire!
Garret here. I humbly request to be added to the membership roster.  I have been reading on this forum as I've wanted to get one of these beauties for some time now.  I have on order a Cimarron, NWMP Carbine in .45-75 and it will probably be close to a month before I can take possession.  There's a little time before I will actually be a proud owner however I wanted to start the ball rolling and put my name in for membership.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Thanks Grizzly. The '76 and I are getting to know each other quite well. She's a lovely Lady  Grin But like all women she grabs your attention when she lets fly.....

Due to a bit of damage on the fore end received at Bisley I decided to strip off that horrible poly gunk that Uberti insist on putting on their wood. After steaming out the dents and some weeks of lovingly applying oil, finishing it off with Renaissance wax. She looks a $million now. The grain is superb. Liked it so much I've just done my '73 too.

Griz:
A good point.  Why don't Uberti wise up and go to a handrubbed oil finish.  Years ago I had a Sharps that had been made back East before they moved to Big Timber and it had a hand rubbed oil finish.  Scratch it and put a drop of Tung oil on that scratch--problem solved!  I think that Uberti might could sell more?
