Howdy,

I've got some old Winchester's too but there 73's an 94's an I've got my eye on a 66 too but there's no site to talk an find people on can you help ne find those site's?

I've been helped along by "Two Flint's" from the SSS site he's been very helpfull with my 1860 Spencer carbine finding out the history of it an what cavalry unit it was in ect.... Cheesy Grin

John boy:
I had located and purchased the parts i needed; the rifle didnt need that much.
extractor, finger lever spring (the 90 degree part was broken off), one forend tip screw, rear sight.

i will post some pictures later.

i watched this rifle for over 3 years at a local gun shop.  it did / does have some issue, but i still wanted this one as opposed to getting a Uberti.

Well, I too love the originals, and used to shoot them some, but since the Uberti come out, I just take the old girls out once in a while to fondle! Smiley  Say, that don't sound quite right! Cheesy

In any case, nice example, and a good investment to boot!  Enjoy! Smiley

By the way, I may move these last few posts and pics to the thread with pics of original rifles - just so it don't get overlooked.
