16 inch 66

Let me tell you about my cimarron 66. I sell my back up guns ocasionaly that way I get to shoot something new. My main match rifle is a 73 octogon 20in. deluxe.
 So when I wanted a new back up gun I wanted something that was different from the 73.
  a 66 brass of course with a 16 inch round barrel. It is heavier but swings fast and easy as all the weight is in the reciever unlike the 73. the 16 inch holds 10 rounds of .38 and not 10 1/2 either. I put a marbles tang sight on it { comes with a smith ladder sight which I took off. } Sent it to Joe Alves and he short stroked it and installed a front sight old eyes could see. It is very accurate and a hoot to shoot.  And that barrel just swings easy being so light. Intial price of the rifle was small compared to a 73 , cimarron had them on sale.
  Since I knew it was going to Joe Alves I didnt mach care about cimarron customer service.
  I use it more than my main match 73 now.
