New Today listing
« on: October 11, 2007, 10:27:20 AM »
Hey, everyone, I was just browsing around today and found a very peculiar piece that i though this forum help me learn something about. The image is below... it's 38 caliber and it says it was made in the 1880's. Anyone know anything... I'm just curious.

Chicago Firearms Co. "Protector Palm Pistol", squeezer action.   .32 cal extra short rimfire.  Rotary "magazine" held rounds pointed out in a circle.  Most were nickle plated and blued guns are scarce and desirable.

Minneapolis Firearms Co made one even smaller in .32 centerfire.  More scarce than the Chicago.

I've seen a few, but never saw one in working condition.  Seems they were fragile and persnickety.

Both held seven rounds I think.
