Best Turkey to you down south partners.  We're up here in the northwoods with family.  Winter is here, but so is the northern spirit.  We'll shoot with you in 2015.

All ready December. Goverment workers have gone to Holiday mode- deer hunting in many areas coming to close- cowboy shooters have covered the metal bandits and desparado's for the year. Dreaming of kegs of powder and lead to cast for the winter months ahead.  Shine the brass and clean the Winchesters. It is 70 here again today, i think some smoke and fire need to be made.

LR where are you living at now?

I just got back from gov't travel down south. Have Boy scouts and horse duties this weekend but will be shooting the next two after that - pending weather.

Have yourself a smokey little Christmas

May your clouds be white

So the spotter's will all fade from sight

And the RO will be coughing half the night.

If ya can't be fast it's good to be Lucky!

Sorry about being absent for a bit.  The first January match has been cancelled due to thunderstorms...in January.  Crazy.  I hope to be shootin' Jan 10.  Hope to see some of my F&B pards there weather permitting.

Weather permitting, Cardinal and I will be there!

On the positive side - the weather has allowed me to do post Christmas honey do's and get some loading done for Sarah.

Switching to Sarah 12 gauge shotshells tonight and putting primers into some pretty little 32 shells!:)

Happy New Year Ya'll!

I'm looking forward to February.  I'm going to try to hit Cavalier and Black Creek that month.  I say try because I don't know if I'll have a complete set of working firearms by then  ::)  Looks like I'll have to order a couple of holsters for my C&B revolvers to shoot them.

Finally made it to a match today.  We had a good turn out and a high of 54 degrees.  Brought Big Bertha and she beltched much good Smoke and provided reason for hearing protection   ;D

Currently looks like next weekend is shaping up to be another frigid one.

PR still have 4 of Cardinal's shotshell. Cleaned and deprimed.

I did get about 200 or so pretty pink shot shells done for Cardinal along with lots of 38 reloading.  I even have my press set-up to try some 32 reloading...but have plenty of 38 and 32 ammo on hand for awhile thanks to both Missouri Marshall and Sassy.

Turns out my 38 loads were not Marlin friendly:)!

Cardinal now has her own 50 call ammo can to hold her 32's and 38's in it, two large coffee cans full of 12 gauge and two 25 round shotgun shell plastic holders.

I think I might do some 10 gauge reloading for me...since I have been doing almost all my reloading for her! Wahoooo Yehawwwww!

All my ammo boxes are full again.  As I was reloading my wife asked me a very good question.  How can you have anything to reload if you haven't been shootin?   :'(

Dang I need to get some trigger time in.  Snow, snow go away and don't bother to come back any day.

Wahoooo, excited that the weather finally looks passable for next weekend and Sarah and I will not only get to shoot but spend two days shooting with some great cowboy and cowgirls in West Pt, Va at the yearly Gathering two day match!

Yehawwwwwwwwwwww!

There will be copious amounts of smoke, fire, boom and stank and I am proud to say my daughter will be doing all of those with me!

Hope to see many of you there!
