Boys, I’m likin’ on them different wads I done got. A lot. Splittin’ ‘em in thirds – easy. They’re big, fluffy ‘n easy ta get yer fingers on.
Just finished up the rifle stuff. Goin’ back out ta do sum pistol stuff inna minute. Was gonna do wadcutters but them wads is so much fun I might do Heap Bad Medicines instead.

Lordy, do I remember that.
Secure at 0300. Go home ‘n nap in the lazy boy. Get up at 0700. Wash up, run the electric razor o’er yer face ‘n change shirts. Back ta Circuit Court before 0930. Defense moves to put you out of the courtroom ‘n ya sit in the hall onna bench with no back. Bailiff calls ya in, yer on the stand for all of 10 minutes then they cut ya loose.
Get back home ‘bout 1330. Nap in the chair. Wake up, eat sumthin’, shower, electric razor again, clean clothes, back to the office at 1900 sayin’ – WHOT HOPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Well, I secured at 0600 and am home now, but if I go to sleep, I won't get up and make it to court at 0900. I'm just staying up until after court (hopefully it will go quick) and my Sgt said to sleep until I get up and then come to work. I told him not to say that cause I'd be in sometime next week, if that were the case.
I figure I SHOULD (ahem) get home sometime about 1100 and be in bed very shortly thereafter. I shouldn't need but about 5 hours of sleep..... but ya never know.
The good thing is I start day shift on Monday, 0600 - 1800, so maybe I'll normal out quicker. Just means I gotta get up early on Friday. This set of nights has been hard. I've only been getting 4 or 5 hours and I usually need right about 7 or 8. MM says I'm all screwed up. I believe him - it's been a long night tour with all the holidays since we started in November. But we have gotten a whole butt ton of comp time for it too.
We'll smoke it up fer ya, PR - check the horizon......
Take care until we meet agin,
Trina

Naw, I'll still do the every other weekend thing, but at least for the two months I'm working days MM can walk around the house without having to worry about waking me up. He hates it when I'm on nights. I told him I use my earplugs and the only thing that will wake me up is when he's reloading in the room right next to me - too much noise transfers through the floor. I would lose out on a lot of comp time if I did a Monday - Friday gig. I really don't mind working 15 days out of the month with every other weekend a three day weekend..........
Got a 30 day continuance........
oh well, more comp time to come..................
Will we see ya at Black Creek in a couple of weeks?

I think me and Little Rooster, if his sked works out, will hit Mattaponi on the 20th.
I am going to try and hit Pungo in Feb.
Will there be a TIB IV in March?

According to the KC's Corral Website, TIB IV is scheduled for May 17 & 18.
http://kcscorral.net/tib.html
According to the SASS Website, the 2nd Annual MD State Blackpowder Championship is scheduled for August 24, 2008.
We need to start one here in Virginny.

Wellllllllllllllll YEEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWWWWW, y’all!
Missed some y’all yestertiddy.
A werd FWIW. Hadda pistol staged. That means it’s time fer the infamous Buntline. Been o’er a year since the po’ thing been out the safe. Knew I shouldah pudda put couple three drops ah Ballistol onna patch ‘n run it thru the bore, didn’t.
Took me six patches ta get it clean awhile ago ‘n squirted the first’n with Moosemilk. Six! What a waste. Had one l’il spot whut wouldn’t come off the loadin’ gate. Put the bi-focals on ‘n it’s a spot of CCH.
Didn’t manage ta set the cardboard target afire but she scorched it. The concussion from Wildcat Will’s liked ta knocked it o’er. Had a youngster ask whut that stuff was comin’ out my barrel. Said, ‘Son, that’s Fire ‘n Brimstone.’
We wuz wearin’ our badges ‘n doin’ our secret handshakes proud.
