Hey there ya'll. Well, while this is not really a border, per se, it can be used as filler in a border, I guess. I found the instructions for it online (I forget where
) and it's actually really simple.
I call it Fraugahyde, but you can call it a mess if you like.
The internal body of the design is the fraugahyde.
And I guess I just had to use it on my straps.
The idea is to take a large seeder, and line out where you would see "veins" or the large bumps. Then you take an intermediate size seeder, and run it down a couple of the edges of the larger seeder, and then use a dramatically smaller seeder (lightly) to fill in the area. It would drive you nuts on a saddle, I'd bet, but when all is said and done, looks pretty decent as filler, even with someone as poor as me working the leather. LOL.
