2000, Model 3 from Smith and Wesson

I cant take a pic worth much, but here is my year 2000, Smith and Wesson model 3 in .45schofield.

Great looking revolver MD.  I am still waiting for my Taylor (Uberti) model three to come in.  The waiting is the hardest part.

Envy you Marshal Deadwood. That's a graceful pistol which triggers a question to the campfire and other owners of newly built original re-issue S&W Schofields: has any of you parts and partneretts ever "altered" his or her S&W to be more period-correct like changing the frame mounted firing pin to hammer mounted, etc?
